“A life without cause is a life without effect" means that if you don't actively pursue a purpose or take action towards something meaningful ("cause"), your life won't have any significant impact or result ("effect") on the world around you; essentially, your life will be meaningless without a driving force behind it.” - Paulo Coelho
My name is Tima; I am a survivor of Family Domestic Violence and Childhood Sexual Abuse. Prior to 2016 I had no understanding of Family Domestic Violence. It is the most prevalent and devastating crimes in our community, inflicting deep emotional, physical, and spiritual harm on those who endure it. Georgia Commission on Family Violence indicates 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime.
Navigating my own survival changed the course of my destiny. Prevention education is nonexistent in our community.
I used a portion of the crime victim's compensation I received to further my education. I founded CFVPI in 2016.
I am a Certified Frontline Advocate, Prevention Education Specialist, Mindful Based Eco Therapy Facilitator and Program Consultant.
In 2024 CFVPI partnered with Education Measures, and founded a
Nature Based Environmental Education & Wellness Initiative.
Using the benefits of nature helps individuals build resilience, form deeper connections, meaning and enjoyment of life.
We understand that when we intergrade ourselves with nature we can tap into its healing power.
Like many successful grassroots organizations, most of our work has been organic and creative in nature.

Unlike other service providers, no one in our organization receives a salary.
The funding we receive is used to raise awareness, provide prevention education, and assist victims with support as they navigate their way to safety, independence and wellness.
I have traveled more than 70,000 miles across the United States sharing my testimony, educating those who dare to dream.
